Campaign 1 - Banner 2

Yu Yu Hakusho

Gaiden
N/A

A graphically impressive adventure game from Sega not to be confused with Treasure's super popular beat-em-up which was released the same year.

You start by choosing which one of the characters you will start as. Next you move around locations investigating the people that you meet. But watch out! They may well be a scary monster in disguise! If so you are launched into battle. The controls here are quite simple. Left and right move your player and also block attacks from the opposite direction. A does punch, rapidly it does a rapid punch (how convenient) and B does kick.

The music, which plays constantly is very catchy and the graphics and animation are pretty good. Even if you can't read the Japanese text this shouldn't stop you from playing. You'll be able to move around and talk to people you just won't know why or what they are saying.

I bought this cartridge in Febuary 2000 and thought it was pretty crumby. I don't have any good memories of it other than the upbeat bg music, which is sort of on the same level as DBZ for the Megadrive.
