A Japanese language Role Playing Game.

The Anime style into is great and accompanied by some 'Squaresoft' style music. The RPG genre is very suited to a game based on Slayers and the game isn't bad. The graphics are colourful but a bit simplistic. The battle system is similar to the one used in RPGs like the 'Phantasy Star series', you see the enemies in a first person perspective and when someone attacks they flash briefly first then the animation of the attack follows. It is a bit basic but easy to learn if you can't read Japanese.

The first section of the game is easy to get through even without knowledge of Japanese text but just how far you will get after that is debatable. Full of nice effects and touches Slayers is a good RPG but sadly Western fans my not get very far.
